Overview

The VIS Motorsport HPFP (High Pressure Fuel Pump) upgrade increases your TFSI/TSI pump’s capacity with a +20% larger piston area than OEM. Engineered for big-turbo applications, it delivers a stable 150+ bar and gives stock engines a noticeable rail-pressure gain and extra horsepower – without a software update.

Precision & Manufacturing

  • Top clearance (piston): 0.001–0.00015 mm
  • Deviation of circularity: ≤ 0.001 mm
  • Hardness before rectification: 370–450 HB
  • Nitrided case depth: 0.15–0.25 mm
  • Hardness after nitriding: HV10 760–860 kgf/mm²
  • Material: 34MoCr11 STAS 791-1988 (special aged steel)

These ultra-tight tolerances and surface finishes ensure sealing integrity, wear resistance, and stable pressures under extreme loads.

Critical Startup Warning

After every HPFP installation do not start the engine immediately! Open and keep the driver’s door open or switch ignition on until the in-tank lift pump has primed the high-pressure pump (you can hear it). Only then start the engine – otherwise the HPFP may be damaged instantly.
