Why remove balance shafts?
The EA113’s counter-rotating balance shafts are a weak point. They spin at 2x engine speed, wear prematurely and create oiling issues. Instead of truly balancing, they only mask vibrations. Deleting them boosts engine longevity and removes a major failure risk.

Important Note:
When installing, always check the OEM crankshaft gear (VAG 06F105243C). This weaker part should be replaced during installation.
