This professional hydraulic handbrake is designed for competitive motorsport applications such as rallying, drifting, and track racing. It allows direct control over the rear brake circuit to help initiate slides or stabilize the vehicle during aggressive driving maneuvers.
The system is installed by interrupting the brake line leading to the rear axle. Brake fluid passes through an integrated hydraulic cylinder. When the lever is pulled, hydraulic pressure is applied to the rear brakes independently of the foot brake – delivering instant and responsive braking force exactly when needed.
The unit features an integrated lock mechanism (Fly-Off function), which can hold the lever in the pulled position if desired. This lock can be disabled, allowing the lever to automatically return to its original position when released. This dual-mode feature provides flexibility for different driving styles and racing disciplines.
The lightweight 260 mm aluminum lever offers excellent grip and responsiveness. Thanks to multiple mounting holes, the handbrake can be installed in either a vertical or horizontal orientation, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicle interiors and driver preferences.
